Shopping

There was a gal in our neighborhood who hosted this Costume Swap in her home. You bring clean costumes...she tags them and hangs them up for everyone to shop. You get to 'rent' them for halloween. Then you make sure they are clean and returned to the owner.

We found 3----a storm trooper, a dark cloak for a ringraith, and a mini mouse. Now we only have 1 to go!!! How slick was that? Love the idea...thought I would share it. 

There she goes...hopping down the street---all happy like! {i had to hurry and take a pic..so ammon got stuck in there...batteries were blinking, no time to redo.}

Just had to do a shout out.... of course for shopping today and tomorrow.

They have even extended the hours for everyone. how convenient. You can shop until 3 tomorrow. yay!! I went with a good fairy helper last night late and set up. There was some good stuff going up. I might have to do a bit of shopping myself. hmmmm....

For peaking pleasure here is my set up. I am in the center and had both sides to deal with. I think it turned out pretty darn cute...thanks fairy helper amy :)

I ran out of time and couldn't finish up a bunch of pocket people. I will get those finished and list them in the shop. So shop update will be coming soon.

Super Party

Of course you weren't the only ones that had a party for super bowl. We are not a sports family by any means, but we do have a super bowl party. I confess- i didn't know who was playing before we went, but you know---i could tell you the lines of fabric for moda....can they?

We are all on one of those slouch couches- or we were just slowching. Not a good pic for any of us in the mid area. yikes!!! FYI: don't slouch in couches when pictures are taken.

I brought some hand stitching to do....pocket people. They are the last of the things I need to sew for the show on Friday.

Great weekend and a sort of busy week ahead. I am going to be working on my table for the art market and will share.

p.s.--the groundhog saw his shadow!! oh, man...another 10 weeks of winter. Is it 10? ok. whatever. it will be cold. Until then we snuck outside and saw our own shadow in the beautiful warm sun!! aaaaahhhhhh......nothing better than a little vitamin D.

Not much on the docket for this weekend. Sewing, sewing and more sewing..why?...because...i did it...I signed up for Art Market in Sugarhouse.
