Chocolate

I have a bit of chocolate to share. Sorry it isn't edible, but still enjoyable none the less.
I had a late lunch late Christmas party with a little quilt group. There are only 8 of us so it is a bit of fun!! Each of us brought a bag made with a tea towel and put things inside. Then of course we chose names and picked a new bag to take home.
Here is what i got:

Chocolate from Germany...mmmm....a 6X6 quilt ruler, cute bag of course and some more chocolate.
Then i got a surprise bag from them all!! they put all the stuff in the clear bags we made last month :) i love it though...they are sooo handy. some black and white fat quarters-i am starting a little collection for a project so it's perfect, 2 little tins, chocolate...mmm., hand lotion, and look at that cute gingerbread gal!! she is soooo cute!! One of the gals had one in their home and i just loved it, so now i have my own.

At the late lunch i made some cute button bouquets in salt/pepper shakers. They all turned out sooo cute. Sorry i only have mine left. Should have shown a before with them all.
Last Chocolate sharing: the ultimate chocolate QUILT!!!
I have had this quilt pretty close to finished for about 3 months now. I had just needed to stitch the words at the top. Couldn't make up my mind on what to say. But i finally finished and ta-da!! it got quilted this week so i will show it off to a different quilt group tonight. I am helping the president for this year and she is doing this quilt as a block of the month. I love it!!!

And the back:
I found this back at a thrift store and have been holding onto it for about a year knowing this quilt was coming.
Let me tell you that Angie made this quilt up all by herself!! She drafted the patterns and the set up and stitcheries. I am trying to convince her to sell the pattern. She did a fantastic job and everyone is in love with it. ---sort of glad i have mine done first though---
It's been a yummy week...mmmmmmmm
P.S.--
Dana ...i need an email from you. I have the pattern ready and waiting. Thanks for the help

Awesome--bring it to Main Street Quilters for show and tell. I'll bet there will be MAJOR interest in making it!!! I love my botton bouquet..it's in my kitchen window so I see it everyday. Have a great day, Becky. Julie
