quilt under pressure

Are you looking for the drawing? It is still on until Sunday.

Click here to go to the post.

I finished a quilt. Nothing like the pressure of having the challenge show-off last night at quilt meeting to get you sewing!!
The quilt group gave us a few fat quarters, and a pattern each month. I ended up finishing 10 but only used 9 here. Mine was the SMALLEST quilt shown!! Everyone else had done huge quilts with thier blocks. They all turned out soooo different from one another. There were some great ones. sorry no pics. We had to have a top finished to show it off. Yesterday i hurridly put the blocks together and quilted it. Nothing fancy...but.. I decided that a small table quilt finished is better than a large unfinished quilt or a pile of blocks. So here we go.

Now, what to do with the 10th block??

a friend of mine made a serving platter out of hers. She followed the directions in a Hallmark Magazine; use an old deep frame, attach handles, frame your square, ta dah! a beautiful serving tray to match your quilt!
I am really enjoying your blog!

I love the colours you chose for your quilt. How about a pillow cover with the other block, or a little bitty doll quilt?
